AIRTEC MOTORSPORT FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER FOR KIA CEED GT

As part of our expanding Kia platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler kit for the Kia Ceed GT, suitable for track or fast road use.

In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, we have developed a larger, freer-flowing front mount intercooler that replaces the smaller and more restrictive side mount set up.

Our solution to increasing the intercooler’s size and performance within the confines of the limited space behind the bumper is based upon a much larger twin-pass core. This offers a huge 125% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as colossal 239% increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided. The twin-pass core design forces the boost up and down the core twice before it exits, increasing the time it passes through the intercooler to further decrease temperatures.

The comprehensive kit also includes a big boost pipe kit that relocates the original re-circ valve and all silicone hose connectors, together with fixtures, fittings and instructions.

Together with our high-flow, moulded end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.
