These Audi A3 3.2 V6 performance exhausts are made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fit from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these sports exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.

The resonated exhaust option includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust however, is also available as a non-resonated version (excluding the centre silencer) which is a louder option, as it excludes the centre silencer and therefore, has a sportier exhaust note.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.

Cobra Sport Review

Cobra Sport have expanded their exhaust range for the Audi A3 through the addition of a cat back exhaust systems for the powerful 3.2 litre V6 Quattro. The 3.2 Quattro has proven to be a popular choice for owners looking for strong performance and the enviable V6 sound.

Cobra Sport were keen to make the most of the beautiful tone produced by the 3.2 engine. The decision was made to manufacture the system with 3" mandrel bent T304 stainless steel pipework to allow for maximum gas flow and to deepen the exhaust tone. The completed systems produce a beautiful pitch perfect tone you would expect from the 3.2 engine. During the 4,000 rpm static test the resonated cat back system increased by 8db to register 88.1db on the sound meter. The Cobra Sport systems also offer an impressive 32% weight saving over the standard system weighing in at only 10.94kg.

The new Audi A3 system benefits from all of the usual Cobra Sport refinements with mandrel bent, TIG welded, grade 304 stainless steel used throughout the systems as standard. Additionally, Cobra Sport are one of the very few manufacturers who can guarantee that every component in the exhaust is made from stainless steel. You can therefore be assured of only the best quality in a Cobra Sport system.

Matt Thomas, Sales Manager at Cobra Sport says "We were keen to add the 3.2 Quattro A3 to our direct fit exhaust range and we knew we could give the car the sound missing from the factory. The V6 now gives off an incredible roar under load whilst staying refined at low revs and idle where the db levels only increase by 1.9dB."

The styling of the system is finished off with a choice of subtle twin 3" slash-cut tailpipes both finished in highly polished T304 stainless steel. The aesthetics of the systems complement the A3 styling fitting neatly with the rear valance creating a subtle but sporty look.
